Client Service Associate

We are looking for an experienced Client Service Associate.  This is a full time position.

The position available is through Dana Financial, a full-service asset management firm.  Investment services are provided through Momenum Independent Network Inc., a member FINRA/SIPC, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilltop Holdings.Through Momenum Independent Network Inc. we provide clients with an array of financial planning, investments and brokerage services.

Position Description:

  • Reports to Company Owner/Senior Financial Advisor (PFS). 
  • Provides general support to finance/accounting team members as required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and stay highly organized.
  • Possesses strong computer and technology skills
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Motivated to develop yourself professionally.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Desire to gain a CFP credential
  • Team player looking to grow long term with the company in the investment industry, ability to learn quickly, grasp concepts and training materials/manuals, software and processes.
  • Agreeable to background verification, fingerprinting, and checks as is required in the financial industry.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of CFP, uses computer technology to produce, manage, and track client investment and insurance applications.  Often working directly with clients to collect and process information
  • Helps manage the client onboarding process and relationship.  Makes it easy for clients to do business with us.  Builds positive interactions with clients.  Prepares client documents with clear and easy to follow instructions.
  • Transfer client assets as required and process all payments.
  • Set-up and maintain all client files and records, and handle written correspondence.
  • Assists with the development of financial plans.
  • Liaises with “back office” departments on behalf of the investment team.
  • Tracks and manages the flow of projects through various systems with the goal of meeting deadlines and completing of tasks on a timely basis. 
  • Stays current on regulatory rules and processes.  Ensures that the production of investment and insurance applications is compliant with regulations.
  • Maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
  • Performs other administrative duties to support the investment team. 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial services industry or similar experience/training.
